Getting Around While taxis are available on North Caicos, there are also rental cars available. A car rental allows you much more independence to go shopping, visit North Caicos and Middle Caicos now accessible thanks to the new causeway built between the two islands. Remember to drive on the left side of the road. Also be careful, especially at night, as many locals walk or ride their bikes as a mean of transportation.
